Background
In September 2022, Team Sammy announced its partnership with Northern Santa Barbara County United Way (NSBCUW) to expand access to financial education resources and programs in underserved communities. This collaboration is part of NSBCUW's Literacy 2.0 strategy. Below is a progress report highlighting the impact achieved during the first two years of executing this strategy.

Looking Forward
As we approach the 2024/2025 school year, NSBCUW remains committed to providing valuable financial education resources to our community. In the coming year, we will continue to offer Sammy Rabbit's Money School and the Dream Big Financial Education Program, with the goal of enhancing the financial literacy of local families. We are also excited to expand our reach by offering accessible resources for Spanish-speaking families and introducing new opportunities for parents to teach their children essential lifelong saving habits.
