Questions Are The Answers
Moms, Dads, Leaders - Let's plant and seed money conversations in the heads and hearts of children and students in 2024!
Let's talk to and teach kids to establish the right money habits and attitudes to set them up for financial lifelong success!
Let's make the process fun and easy.
This new series will provide you with questions to ask kids to get them talking and learning about money.
IF they respond, great. IF they don't respond, great. YOU DO NOT have to respond, but may at your option. "Nudge" or "fast track" them along as you determine appropriate. Either way, keep seeding them with questions. Remember, education is an ongoing process that requires consistency and repetition to grow competency and master skills.
With that in mind and as Sammy Rabbit says, let's get to it!
Today's Question
Today's question might be something like:
"Have you set a savings goal for 2024?"
Build the Conversation With These Questions
If your child or children engage with today's question, below are eight follow-up questions a parent might ask their child. Revise or rephrase the questions as you determine appropriate.
What are some things you'd like to save up for this year?
How much money do you think you'll need to reach your savings goal?
What steps can you take to help you reach your savings goal?
Are there any challenges you anticipate facing while trying to save?
Would you like any help or advice in reaching your savings goal?
