Sammy Rabbit, Life & Money, and Treasure Trove Story Club collaborate to pilot and bring Sammy Rabbit's Dream Big Financial Education to children and families in India!
The initial pilot program and test include a total of 9 financial education experiences for children and families in India! Life & Money will adapt and use a subset of Sammy Rabbit's Dream Big Financial Education curriculum to execute the test.

Initial Experience: Dream Big Read Experience led by children's author and songwriter Sam X Renick with local story teller Sarika Athalye. Sarika is the Founder of Treasure Trove Story Club! (COMPLETED 12.19.20)
The initial experience will be followed by a series of four workshops led by Sarika Athalye. The series will be repeated two times. The first series of four workshops will be conducted in January 2021. The second series of four workshops will be conducted in February 2021. The four workshops in the series are:

| Session flow | Welcome, Sammy the Leader Game & Presentation of Habit tracker with experience sharing. (11.00 am to 11.30 am.) Welcome children to the 3nd session of our workshop series.Sammy the Leader: Ask children what are the new & extremely important concepts Sammy has taught them through his story? So would they like to give Sammy the position of a leader in their hearts? If yes, Why? If no, Why? Ask children how they have used Sammy’s teachings until now? Bring in the session’s theme i.e. Setting a Goal & Creating a written Plan.Invite children to present their Habit trackers & share their experience of practicing the chosen habit/habits with their support from their Habit buddies.
Activity 1 – Setting a Goal (11.30 am to 12.00 noon) -Ask them the meaning of the word ‘Goal’ & encourage them to define the same using Goal activity sheet # 1. (Later they can add it to the Dream Big journal.) - Ask children whether they have ever set Goals before? - Invite them share the purposes for which they set those Goals. - Ask them how setting those Goals helped them & made them feel? -Get them to discuss, identify & record their new Goal (Both Habit goal + Money goal) which will help them fulfil their Big Dream using Goal activity sheet # 2. (Later they can add it to the Dream Big journal.) (For this activity create breakout rooms for smaller group discussions & finally have a larger group sharing) Activity 2 – Creating a Written Plan (12.00 noon to 12.30 pm) - Ask children the meaning of the word ‘Plan’ & encourage them to define the same using Plan activity sheet # 1. (Later they can add it to the Dream Big journal.) - Ask children whether they have ever created Plans before? Did they write down the Plans or just kept them in their minds? - Invite them share the purposes for which they created those Plans. - Ask them how creating those Plans helped them & made them feel? -Get them to discuss, create & write their new Daily & Weekly Plan (Both Habit plan + Money plan) & Fill up the Plan Form which will help them achieve their new Goal which in turn will help them fulfil their Big Dream using Plan activity sheets # 2, 3 & 4. (Later they can add these sheets to their Dream Big journal.) (For this activity create breakout rooms for smaller group discussions & finally have a larger group sharing) |
