Tuesday, May 1 was a magical afternoon in Cheyenne Wyoming. (See video above.)

Thanks to the collaboration and cooperation of community leaders in Cheyenne, Sammy Rabbit and children's author Sam X Renick were able to bring their dynamic and infectious brand of financial education to the students in the After School for Kids (ASK) Program at Afflerbaugh Elementary School.

The program included reading, singing, skits, autographs, pictures, hugs and the incomparable dancing of Sammy Rabbit himself. Kids and their parents lit up as Sammy shook his money bunny tail and led them in chants of "S.A.V.E., S.A.V.E., S.A.V.E."

Students learned hard work and making saving a habit can help make their big dreams come true.

Every student in attendance received a copy of the storybook Sammy's Big Dream to take with them and keep learning at home.
