Today's a great day to celebrate several champions of early age, youth and family financial literacy who have called attention to and advanced awareness on Sammy Rabbit's mission and efforts to get kids, families and communities more financially literate.

...We had such an interesting dialogue today in the Females and Finance Community at our Sip & Savor Networking event (held every Thursday morning at 10am CT.)

Today, we talked about Kids & Money - and let me tell you the ideas FLOWED!

Some thoughts were shared on:
💰Savings accounts
💰Using real cash so they know how it works, looks, feel, etc.
💰Teaching children boundaries around money (ex. they are trying to save for something and then flounder and give it away when pressured by a sibling or friend to borrow or spend it)
💰Systemic issues around kids, money, poverty, and financial education
💰Credit card usage (like Greenlight accounts)

... and it just went on and on.

This is one reason we work with Sam X Renick, Founder - SammyRabbit com when it comes to talking about money and children.

If we really want to change communities, you've got to reach parents and children. Colleges and high schools are great, don't get me wrong, but financial education is a big problem and it's gonna take a village ...
